International large orders
Worldwide success for advanced technology by MAHLE NFV
Two specific large orders have been delivered by MAHLE NFV:
The first 20 Fuel-Treatment-Systems type KFWA-1 – ordered by a navy in the south pacific area – have already been handed over in June. Unlike other systems the MAHLE NFV Fuel-Treatment-system combines finest filtration and finest droplet separation of water. This results in exceeding high performance.

In August MAHLE NFV delivered a large capacity deoiler to an oil field in Saudi Arabia. Eberhard Runge, managing director of MAHLE NFV: “During the oil production a huge amount of oil-containing water accrues that can be purified to the so-called injection water. In doing so the main technical criterion is the deoiling process and the simultaneously deposition of solids. Our technology allows us to guarantee a residual oil content of 10 ppm by extra high flow rates, in this case 65 m3/h. This was certainly the sales-conducive factor.“
But not only the high achievements regarding the deoiling process forwards MAHLE NFV currently as the technological market leader. The high reliability and the subsequent low maintenance efforts are considerable advantages of MAHLE NFV technology. “Because our system works continuously without back-flushing and additive chemicals, no special waste or waste water is involved, that has to be disposed of“, says Ulf Müller, sales manager of MAHLE NFV. “Considering very huge water amounts this constitutes a decisive advantage.“
