Positive customer feedback at trade shows in the second half of 2008!

MAHLE Industriefiltration GmbH’s trade show activities continued on a high level in the second half of 2008.

We presented our products at three different trade shows and provided targeted information to a wide variety of sectors: the shipping industry at SMM in Hamburg, the metal industry at parts2clean in Stuttgart, and the oil industry at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi. Customer feedback on products and technology at all three shows was overwhelmingly positive and our stands attracted many visitors. The great interest in NFV systems has resulted in a number of orders and is an indicator of the cross-sector relevance of our main product fields: deoiling, dewatering, ballast water and fuel treatment.

At SMM 2008, MAHLE Industriefiltration presented a model of the Ballast Water Treatment system “OPS”. This new system has attracted much attention and has led to highly promising meetings with prospective customers.

The MAHLE stand at the ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi was also a first for MAHLE with NFV products. The joint stand with our partner Kanoo Group from Dubai attracted many visitors. Customer interest focused predominantly on NFV separators for deoiling injection and surface water, which offer unrivalled flexibility and can be configured to the customer’s precise requirements, and on the NFV dewatering system for crude oil (CWD). MAHLE’s ability to produce systems with different designs and volumes generated numerous customer enquiries at the show. Subsequent visits to customers with our local partners were used to discuss existing and future systems in greater detail. These meetings have served to gain new customers for MAHLE and have given our customers a better understanding of the benefits of our system solutions.
